How To Make Ubtan at Home For A Glowing Skin

Ubtan is a traditional homemade skincare recipe that has been used in India for centuries. It's made by mixing different natural ingredients that are known for their skin-benefiting properties. Here's a simple recipe for making ubtan at home:

 Ingredients:

1/2 cup chickpea flour (also known as besan) 1/4 cup sandalwood powder

1/4 cup turmeric powder

1/4 cup rose water

1/4 cup milk or yogurt

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix the chickpea flour, sandalwood powder, and turmeric powder. Slowly add rose water and milk or yogurt to the mixture and stir well until it forms a paste-like consistency.

2. You can adjust the quantity of milk or yogurt to get the desired consistency. Let the ubtan rest for 5-10 minutes.

3. Before applying, wet your face with lukewarm water and then apply the ubtan evenly all over your face and neck.

4. Massage the ubtan onto your skin gently for 2-3 minutes. Leave the ubtan on your skin for 10-15 minutes or until it dries completely.

5. Rinse off the ubtan with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a soft towel. Apply a moisturizer to your skin to lock in the moisture.

Ubtan is an excellent remedy for glowing and healthy skin. The chickpea flour helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores, while the sandalwood powder has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that soothe and cleanse the skin.

Turmeric powder is a natural antioxidant and brightens the skin, while rose water and milk or yogurt hydrate and moisturize the skin. Use this ubtan once or twice a week for best results.
